When Cradle Cap Occurs near the Eyelids

Many neonatal diseases are harmless and cradle cap is one. This does not mean that it should be left in its own condition. Rather it should be managed properly so that it does not spread to the other parts of the body and cause any harm to the baby. It occurs in different places. Here I’ll tell you how to cure it when it appears near the eyelids.

Dilute some baby shampoo with water and cleanse the area well. There is no hard and fast rule regarding the proportion of dilution. It can be a few drops to half cup water to a 50/50 mix. Baking soda can also be used. A teaspoonful of soda can be added to a cup of boiled water. Use of commercial ointments also works fine.
